I switched to this after losing the lids on too many of the crummy plastic covers you see all over the place over propane tanks. The insert for the top of the cover rotted away pretty quickly so my husband cut a piece of wood, which has held up lots better. Too bad it doesn't come with a piece of acrylic or some such that won't rot. The zipper gets rather hard to use over time and I sprayed it with some stuff that made it work a bit better. I felt I needed to make a couple modifications to make this acceptable. I put a couple grommets along the bottom to use to tie it down. I added a lid on my bottle so it wouldn't cut the cover. The diameter is a bit small so it doesnct velcro over the part of the tank where there's a bolt to tight the retaining band that hold the tank in place. It was inexpensive; It works, mostly.

The material is thick and it works with my two 30lb tanks. The cardboard that you slip in the top is useless. It doesnt really give you rigidity. Overall it is a fair product for someone who doesnt wanna spend the money on the composite hard cover.

Great look. Simple to put on and I like the hole space for the adapter. Velcro strips used to close I prefer over zipper. I purchased the 20lb cover. Will likely buy another when i get another tank.

I really liked this as a replacement for our hard plastic tank cover that was cracked. No issues so far with five camping trips. It doesnt really look like diamond plate but it does look fine on the front of our travel trailer.

This works and looks OK, but there's no way once it's on, to access the valve on the top of the tank. So I have to remove it, then re-velcro it together. Very inconvenient.

Used to replace a torn fabric cover for the propane tanks on my trailer. I've only used it on one trip so far but access to the valves is good and the product fits well. So far, so good.

I was skeptical about this cover at first but have found it to be of good quality material, the zipper works great and provides sufficient access to the propane switch and valves. I did reinforce the cardboard support with duct tape so it would stay together inside the cover on top of the tanks. I use the top of the cover to hold inverters and re-charge things.

Surprisingly sturdy. We didn't have room to put hard plastic cover so bought this and on our snowmobile trailer went across 4 states in bad road conditions and looks like new afterwards.

It looks nice when stretched out!It can be tight to put on the first time till it is stretched out!Keep it warm, & in sunlight before installing it, so it’s easier to install!Mine ripped a hole where the material on top meets the propane tank, so Make sure to use the cardboard wood / thin mdf board they give you for the top piece, to prevent the ripping!To be honest it could be better designed, but it works okay, & looks nice!

We bought this thing to use when we are hauling our bicycles on a rack over our propane tanks. Time will tell on how durable this thing is. It appears fairly durable. I am not using the particle board flat thing. I see no reason for it at all.

Looks nice, covers both my 30lb tanks. Fits snugly at the bottom. Does not keep the tanks warm in cold, wintery weather. Ice built up inside the cover due to the propane liquid getting cold on the inside of the tank. It’s still worth the buy though.Tip: It’s easier to place the cover where you want it first and insert the tanks in the zippered opening rather than trying to put the cover over the tanks.

This product works well as a soft cover. It stretches to cover both 40lb tanks, and has a two piece wood support for the top. The zipper is in a perfect location for turning the tanks on or off or for switching from the left tank or the right tank to the other. It is very lightweight. The only two things I don’t like are: 1) condensation can form inside the cover in humid areas; 2) the two wood support boards can be very finicky to deal with.

I've given this a 4 star rating because I just received and installed and have not road tested. But so far I am happy. It seems to be thicker than the white one that only lasted 6 months and the board on the top is a better quality. It was a struggle to get on but it fits well and looks nice. The zipper slides easily and does not bind.

So far, so good! Looks nice, is sturdy & durable. Only traveled with it on once, and it was to a nearby campground, so hoping it holds up to that. No reason to believe that it won't.

We got this cover cause the old hard cover wouldn't fit on after I added an electric tongue jack. This one flexes around the jack, and looks much better the old white one.
