It was a somewhat of a challenge to install the cross piece. That piece seems like it was a hair too long, and that was on each side. Bought two sets about a month ago and finally got around to see them in use. We have a small pond where we get some algae that needs removing. My son and nephew sported these to skim the edges up to about waist deep. They we're in the water approximately an hour total. The waders held up really well. My son wore socks with the waders. The lift on this is terrible, I bought it thinking it would handle about 14FT of head through 1/2" tubing no problem. I was terribly wrong.
