Lasts 12 months, maybe

Nice affordable pump, while it lasts. What will Kedsum do about it? We'll see.I have bought 2 of these for an outdoor fountain, 2nd one just died. Both have lasted about 12 months of usage for about 16 hours/day.After the 1st one died I bought another. Now the 2nd one has died. Will I buy another? Probably not, unless Kedsum steps up and makes it right. I'll be sure to update my review. And, FWIW since I cannot readily see what the warranty is or how to reach out to Kedsum directly, I have to…

Pros
  • We are setting up a hydroponics ‘farm’ and this little guy is awesome
Cons
  • May require additional tubing or attachments for installation

MUCH Better than anticipated

I bought it originally because I was trying to save money. I am using it in a huge DIY birdbath/fountain combo that has approximately a 60-70 gallon reservoir. From the bottom of the reservoir to the birdbath is about 30". The pump comes with 3 different screw in hose adapters (and 4 suction cups for the bottom that work really good). I am using the largest one and it was almost too powerful so i drilled some holes in the hose. TONS of birds visit my birdbath, which means lots of nasty stuff…

Pros
  • Love the power...in my fish pond. Wish you could easily remove front panel for cleaning.
Cons
  • Might require regular maintenance to ensure proper function

Works great! - my new review

I bought this for a 600 gallon pool to make a small fountain and it works great. I wanted it because it is blue and would blend in more with the water since it is in a pool. The suction cup feet work great for me and you just have to be sure to put them in and twist 90° or they will come loose. They have held on the bottom of the pool which is made of galvanized metal. Overall I think it is great and has just enough power for what I wanted. I wanted to add that to keep it from clogging with any

Pros
  • Fish & Aquatic Pets
Cons
  • Could require additional filtration to prevent clogging

Quiet and functional

Updated - Customer service is great. My pump slipped working and I was treated very respectfully. Would gladly purchase from then again :)Works fine at about 2 ft lift, anything higher and it really slows down. I bought it for my 4ft fountain, but it barely trickles at that height. With my frog it works fine. It has gotten stuck a few times and needs a kick start - just hit it and it starts again. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • I use this pump in my horse water tank. Last one lasted 10 years
Cons
  • May be too powerful for smaller aquariums

Updated: Works as intended

I bought this to run with some 1/2" tubing I had. Product is supposed to have come with a 1/2" adapter, it did not. I'm having to purchase 3/4" tubing to proceed with project adding more unnecessary costs.Update: Company contacted me promptly to see about making everything right with the purchase. The offered a partial refund which was sufficient. I can say that he product works great. I'm using it in an NFT hydroponic system for tomatoes and it's moving water perfectly. It's not…

Pros
  • It is super quite. Pump is a tad bite big but still good
Cons
  • Can be pricey compared to other options on the market

Good Pump, 10 months of use for refugium.

I purchased the 550gph version in July of 2017. I think that is a decent pump compared to other pumps. but compared to other cheap pumps this one is pretty darn good!I use this to provide water to my refugium- which runs independently of the rest of my sump. The water flows down from the display, gets filtered through the skimmer, then flows to the center chamber. In the center chamber is two pumps. My return line and this pump. This pump lifts the water 8 inches and then splits two ways and…

Pros
  • Aquarium Pumps & Filters
Cons
  • Could be too large for some hydroponic setups

Powerful suction! For tiny thing !

I bought this awhile ago never used it because my pond was outside and didn’t want to use long cord so I was using solar powered instead! But yesterday I was cleaning my pond which is quite large and didn’t know how to pump all that water out then I remembered I had this in my closet . So I bust it out used a long tubbing and boom ! It was so powerful it drained that pond like a champ ! Although it’s not a draining pump but it helped me a lot ! I’m glad I didn’t use it in my pond cos it has…

Pros
  • It works little less then I'd like but works
Cons
  • Could cause water turbulence that disturbs aquatic life

Flow rate less than avertised

I thought I would use the pump for a while instead of just doing a review the day of the purchase. I had this pump (770 gph) since February and I thought the flow was a little low at purchase. As time went on the output gph seems to have decreased. I had it running in a sump and after realizing that the flow was less I bought the brand I had on my larger tank. The new pump that I bought is 800 gph and so I should not have a huge difference but I do. The new pump I have to turn down using a ball

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain for hassle-free operation
Cons
  • Could be difficult to adjust the direction of the nozzle flow

Great Pump! on my review.

Pump is as described. It's an excellent price and feels high quality. BUT, in case the seller hasn't updated the description of this yet, the flow rate is NOT adjustable. It has one flow rate and that's "ON". So if you're hoping to be able to dial it down for lighter uses, keep in mind that you will have to install a valve in the outlet that will allow you to slow the flow rate. I had to do some research but it turns out with this style pump there is no risk of damage to the pump by…

Pros
  • Can handle up to 6ft high lifts
Cons
  • Could disturb the overall balance of the ecosystem in an aquarium or pond

Nice little pump. Seems to work well

Pump works. The only problem I've had is the nipple that attaches the hose is kinda fragile. I have to disconnect the hose often but if you just attach the hose and let it be, you'll probably be fine

Pros
  • Comes with 3 different nozzles for customizable water flow
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet near the water source

Half the output of my previous pump

Granted, this may be targeted for aquariums and decorative ponds, but gave it a shot after seeing someone used for their pool solar heater. I got the 660 gpm model to replace a 330 gpm transfer pump to cool my pool via a sprinkler overnight (evaporative cooling). I thought this would be better since it was submersible (no worries about rain) and for salt water systems. Even with the narrowest adapter and a 3 foot hose to my sprinkler, I am getting less than half the output of the old pump. It…

Pros
  • Easy to adjust water flow rate to achieve optimal results
Cons
  • Could be difficult to prime if it loses its prime

Great if you know what it is capable of.

The lift on this is terrible, I bought it thinking it would handle about 14FT of head through 1/2" tubing no problem. I was terribly wrong. The flow on this pump is extremely high, at the tradeoff of what you might call "torque". On the other hand I have to commend this product for how quiet it is and the solid build quality. May find a use for it in the future, but it didn't get the job done - an impeller pump that pulls half the power and is half the size outdid this pump five fold in the…

Pros
  • Cost-effective solution for improving water quality in your aquatic system
Cons
  • Could scare some fish or aquatic animals due to strong flow

I bought this a while ago and although I waited to write a review, to be honest, as soon as I plugged it in I was in love with how quiet it was. I was a bit worried about not being able to adjust the flow but the 170gph has been prefect for my 10 gallon saltwater aquarium. I run it inside a Fiji Cube AIO box insert and it fits well enough to also accommodate a Cobalt heater and an Eheim nano surface skimmer. Would definitely recommend this pump.

Pros
  • High-quality materials for safe and reliable operation
Cons
  • Might require additional weighting to stay in place in a pond

It feels like a quality product and moves some water

Solid pump. It feels like a quality product and moves some water. I've purchased some other 'cheap' pumps from amazon and this one is my favorite so far. I got the 130gph pump as well. Both are used for water changes, mixing salt water, quarantine tanks, etc. The other pumps I would not put in my display tank to run everyday but this one I'd consider if I wasn't running hydor koraila's and was looking for a single stream. The blue

Pros
  • Compact design saves space in your aquarium or pond
Cons
  • Could be less durable than other options on the market

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It has a lot of power

I had to go to the smallest fittings because the other two fittings moved the water to fast . I think it would work very well with a larger fountain than I have, just might go for a bigger fountain.

Pros
  • Versatile pump that can be used for various applications
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in some hydroponic setups

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great price for a good pump!

Great little pump at a great price. I use this pump to attach to a pond urn spitter to make a small waterfall. It’s a great pump, very quiet. Used pvc pond tubing which didn’t hold very well to the nozzle so I had to use a zip tie to secure it on both ends but not a big deal. I do wish it had something to control the water flow from low to high but that’s just me being picky. Looked in all the big box stores for a small pump with a decent GPH (500+ for my use) and could not find anything that…

Pros
  • Durable construction ensures long-lasting use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use in extreme weather conditions

Bang for your buck!

Pros:I bought this submersible pump to transfer water fro my storage tank to my aquarium. It's a very quiet and powerful pump. I bought this pump because of it's lift height. It's a great submersible pump for the price and has a good lift height. It's by far one of the cheapest pump in it's segment to offer a lift height of up to 6.5 feet.Cons:This pump does not contain any flow control valves or an on/off switch. This is the only reason I have given this pump a 4 star and not 5.

Pros
  • Low maintenance requirements
Cons
  • Could be difficult to repair on your own

Great for aquarium water changes

I’m using this strictly for water changes and pumping out of a 5-gallon bucket to elevated tanks. I got the idea from my man on Michael’s Fish Room and wow does it save time! I also picked up some 1/2 inch tubing and I’m very pleased with performance so far. It’s pumping at a nice rate - not too fast but really good flow at about 5 feet. I’m 6 foot and tested this with my arm extended all the way to ceiling and this was still pumping water out - granted a trickle but still working at height of…

Pros
  • Improves plant growth and nutrients uptake in hydroponics systems
Cons
  • Could be prone to leaks if not sealed properly

Good for the price - my new review

So far as tested. It is pretty good. On test, It will barely make it to 5ft. If you are using it at 4ft or even 4.5ft. This is awesome. Only reason I'm giving 4 star is because it barely makes 5 ft and when I tried it. The flow is just not good enough. I probably should have gotten the 660gph version for a decent 5ft lift. Using it in an aquaponics and hydroponics (bought 2). My aquaponics needed 5ft lift but I had to lower my plants due to this. My hydroponics didn't need to move which is…

Pros
  • Ideal for aquarium, pond, and hydroponics systems
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some types of filters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than Products at three times the price

I can't believe the quality for this price it shoots water out like a garden hose at mediumUpdate I have this unit sitting in a 52 inch by 12 foot by 24 foot Intex pool 18 inches below the surface feeding 2 50-foot outer diameter half inch copper tubing solar panels which are 15 ft away from the poolThe pressure out of the unit is far less than they free flow, in the five gallon bucket I originally tested it in. obviously it's pushing a further distance up and down hill. I'm getting about a…

Pros
  • Helps to reduce algae growth and prevents harmful bacteria
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in a shallow pond or aquarium
