I thought I would use the pump for a while instead of just doing a review the day of the purchase. I had this pump (770 gph) since February and I thought the flow was a little low at purchase. As time went on the output gph seems to have decreased. I had it running in a sump and after realizing that the flow was less I bought the brand I had on my larger tank. The new pump that I bought is 800 gph and so I should not have a huge difference but I do. The new pump I have to turn down using a ball valve and this one I didn't. So it definitely has less flow than avertised. The pumps are $15 difference but I guess you get what you pay for. I am keeping it as a backup or if may set up a smaller tank. So I would not buy againUPDATE:The seller contacted me about my issues and has made it right. Will buy from the seller again. Updated stare rating to 4.
