I’m using this strictly for water changes and pumping out of a 5-gallon bucket to elevated tanks. I got the idea from my man on Michael’s Fish Room and wow does it save time! I also picked up some 1/2 inch tubing and I’m very pleased with performance so far. It’s pumping at a nice rate - not too fast but really good flow at about 5 feet. I’m 6 foot and tested this with my arm extended all the way to ceiling and this was still pumping water out - granted a trickle but still working at height of 7/8 feet. A must-have for water changes!
