The reviews that complain about an iMac shaking when you use this monitor stand are correct. If you have a desk that is not a solid sturdy non-moveable surface, you are going to have a problem with this stand because the only way to quickly stop the shaking is by holding your iMac with your hand until the shaking stops.If you have a height adjustable desk, you will very likely continuously have this problem with this stand.Also, the minimum stand height is 4 inches which is too tall for what I need. my iMac is now too high when I'm standing and too high when I'm sitting.Complete waste of money.If anyone has the shaking problem, make sure the stand's screw is tight. That helps a bit, but it unfortunately did not eliminate the shaking for my steelcase height adjustable desk.Within 30 minutes of opening the product box, this monitor stand was properly residing in my garbage can. I then purchased a different monitor stand with the same minimum 4 inch height issue, but at least it does not shake because it is a non-adjustable monitor stand (one fixed height).
