The chip offers good clarity and good edge separation. This is where most of the lakes I visit are located, so I have good coverage.

This heavily impacted our ability to find fishing areas based on terrain. The map seems slow to respond and sometimes doesn't track well when moving at high speed.

I didn't like the cards. I'm in New Hampshire and only a few lakes are charted with a 1 foot outline. Most lakes I've fished still have a 10 foot contour line. The same thing happened with my Helix 7.

Read the fine print, if your lake isn't one of their HD lakes it won't work. Don't confuse HD with a list of sea masters. The northeast is heavily bordered by HD lakes. Customer service was a joke, took me back to the seller for a refund and the seller took me back to Hummingbird. A complete waste of money. The instructions are also poor.
