A1175 Laptop Battery For MacBook Pro 15", 12 Months Warranty Review

I can't be 100% sure about this, but my computer crashed not long after I started using this battery. Again I will say, not sure if the battery is the culprit, and I am not sure if anyone else had this issue, but I have to wonder. My computer is an older model so maybe it was just coincidence and it just happened to crash, but MACs very rarely crash. I'd be curious if anyone else had this happen. This battery is a perfect form fit and function replacement for the original apple battery that just fell apart one day. I haven't had it long enough to know battery life but otherwise it is a winner. Delivery was also very prompt.

Works well. The price is right. The charge is a little inconsistent, but works pretty well regardless. Just make sure to charge fully and cycle often for a healthy battery.

I've installed it and follow all apple advised procedures to reset the smc etc. The computer started acting weirdly since i installed this battery: would get really hot, annoyingly hot, it would freeze, discharge very quickly etc. Then i reinstalled my old battery and the laptop worked flawlessly again. Returning it. Too bad, i thought it was gonna be a good product.

So far, this seems to be a great battery for the price. I've only had it for a day, but already it is lasting much longer than my old one. It seems to be of good quality and works exactly as expected. It's too soon to tell if it will hold up over time, but I know it has a 12 month warranty should I need to use it. If I experience any problems or have to use the warranty, I will come back to update this review.

Great I can still get a battery for my computer. The Mac store tries to make me get a new computer as they say mine is out dated. It runs perfectly and the battery helps me move it from place to place without shutting down on me.So easy to install and great price. I'll keep getting them from this seller.Thanks

Battery life is what to be expected given the product. I was very worried about the quality of the product given its price but it offers solid value for money, since it’s lower cost yet with the performance of more expensive competitors.

My 2006 Macbook Pro is still chugging a long 10 years later. This is battery number 5 for me. The previous 4 were Apple batteries. This one works just as good as Apples, if not better, for a quarter of the cost. You can't beat the price!

The original lasted 21 years. I could have bought an upgrade but why my mac pro laptop is 21 years old and I only use it for on site photo shoots.

Didn't realize I could just go out an buy a battery for my older MacBook pro after I dropped my laptop and the old battery actually sprang open! (and obviously stopped working). The Mac Shop was swamped and told me to go buy another one. Dealing with this company was absolutely painless. Delivery was quick and the battery popped in without a problem. I didn't check off battery life because I don't know. But so far so good.

Arrived as advertised, already had around a 70% charge on the battery. Able to plug right in to replace the old battery on an old MacBook Pro. good battery, just gets very hot when its running off the battery not the plug , its keeping my 2009 late mackbook pro alive and well still. think i get about 1 to 1/2 hours off the battery (thats with dimming the screen also to extend the life)

Looked for the battery for my MacBook Pro, and it is very expensive at the apple store to replace the battery. So I bought this item from Best Buy and installed it by myself and it works really well so far. Much cheaper and works well. And the manufacturer sent me a follow up email to check it works well or not. Nice to see some quality customer service who values their customer. ^^
