Unlike other brands, Epson printer ink cartridges only need to be replaced per color.However, since this is a black cartridge, I find myself using it a lot.In past experience, the 124 will give around 170 pages of printing. I like that it keeps the grounds out of the coffee and filters the sediment. What I don't like is the beginning of the stack has tighter filters so that means you can't fit as many grounds into it as you would like to. This means you get a weaker cup of coffee. I used to use a spout-mount PUR filter, but it was weighing too heavily on the spout, so I decided to change to a counter-top filter. This one was inexpensive and small enough for the space available. Note well: I use this to filter out chlorine taste. The PUR filter got rid of all sorts of bad things, too, but I think my water supply is good enough that I don't need to care about those. I installed these because I hate bar pins. These lasted all of about one mile. I left my house and travelled through the neighborhood the back way to the local Ace Hardware to pick up some grade 8 bolts for another project. On my exit from Ace, I noticed that the shock, still attached to this mount, was no longer bolted to where it should be. Upon further investigation, I found that the tabs were completely broken off.
