This is a good value on this ink cartridge. Unlike other brands, Epson printer ink cartridges only need to be replaced per color.However, since this is a black cartridge, I find myself using it a lot.In past experience, the 124 will give around 170 pages of printing. Even for a college kid like me, that's more than enough.It isn't high quality enough for photographs, but for basic documents, papers, and letters that most people commonly print, it is a good value.I also did some shopping around and found that Best Buy has it cheaper than a big box store.
