Ordered the bookmarks with Enthusiasm, but my enthusiasm was erased when i saw that the symbols were fuzzy and not sharp. I kept the bookmarks anyway, but I won't order anything else from CraftsOfEgypt.

I was really surprised at the quality of these book marks. These bookmarks would make great stocking stuffers but I'm gifting them to my Godchildren as a "just because" gift. I'm also including two books of Egyptian stencils to go with them so they can try their own hands at creating Egyptian inspired art projects. I think they'll really like them, at least I hope they do.

The Book Markers are durable and was a thank you gift for a workshop book. I received one over 10 years ago and it looks the same. I was pleased to find them.

What can one write about book marks in general? They are functional. These book marks caught my eye since they were made of papyrus, an unusual material for this application. The printing is done well and the price is remarkable. The tassels are not attached to the book marks, rather they are attached to the plastic sleeves, not of great concern to me. These markers should be kept in the sleeves since the durability of the relatively thin papyrus would not hold up too long outside the sleeves…

They are very classy looking and interesting, especially for those who love history and the study of languages. The colors are bright as they looked on-line!

I got these for my daughter who is excited about Egyptian history. The papyrus is thin (of course), so theymay work better inside the plastic, but the artwork is very nice, each is different, and I'm not expecting longdurability. It's a contest between that and her losing them.

These came quickly and well packaged. It was my turn to choose the book for my book club and I selected the first of the "Amelia Peabody" series by Elizabeth Peters, "The Crocodile on the Sandbank." I knew that I wanted to give little Egyptian themed gifts to my book club ladies and these (along with little pyramids also purchased on Revain) were perfect! I was glad to find these on the internet. They are just like ones I had bought from a street vendor in Egypt. However, I was disappointed when one of two packages I ordered had only 9 bookmarks instead of 10. I needed exactly 20 so one student will have to do without. Such a hassle to reorder or ask for a replacement.

The bookmarks are laminated in plastic that is so thin that the sides curl up. The string for the tassels is just a little thicker than sewing thread and also curl up; I would have to try to iron them to get them to lay straight and flat. I'm really disappointed. I wanted to give them as a thank you gift to a group of 11 year old girls for attending an Egypt escape the room party. I would be embarrassed if I did. They might be fine for a group of 4 or 5-year old's just learning to read.

We used these as favors for an Egyptian themed Birthday party. We did a treasure hunt with some small treasure chests, and paper boxes that looked like gold bars.also purchased from Revain. I wrote the kids names in Hieroglyphs inside the boxes, and they had to use the bookmark to decode the alphabet to figure out whose was whose. It was a lot of fun, and the kids loved it. The price was great too, so very happy with my purchase.

Really fun — these look like they’re actually papyrus! I was kind of expecting just cardstock with a printed image of papyrus on it. But the texture is actually there! My son thought they were really cool.

Bookmarks looks really good. Quality and design looks good. Its made of papyrus, so be careful with it, don't try to bend it to much or it will break off. It seems very dry and brittle. I'm helping my grandson with a sixth grade project on the Egyptian pharaoh, Ramses II. We ordered the bookmarks because of the hieroglyphic alphabet, but we were so pleased that two of the bookmarks have a picture of Ramses and an Egyptian god. The bookmarks are gorgeous, with bright colors and are on authentic papyrus. The tassels are also of high quality. It was a great buy!
