Description of Hankook Tire Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 215/50 R17 95T

The price is valid when buying 4 pcs. The Hankook iPike RS2 winter tire, like the model of the now previous generation, is designed for passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, braking efficiency and reliability in difficult road conditions. Newly developed tread patternThe key difference between this tire and the first generation iPike RS is the tread pattern. Its design remained symmetrical and directional, but the shape, size and arrangement of the elements changed significantly. The central part contains larger intersecting blocks. This noticeably optimizes the distribution of the external load across the contact patch in this area, thereby providing better grip stability. In the shoulder areas, the blocks, on the contrary, noticeably decreased in size, and their number increased due to this. This solution improves the performance of the tread during longitudinal accelerations, and also makes it easier to get out of a rut covered with snow. Several types of sipes Like its predecessor, the tread of this tire contains several thousand so-called “3D lamellas” of narrow slots with 3-axis facets on the vertical walls. But at the same time, the shape and layout of these elements have been significantly changed. The lamellas in the central part are directed at a sharper angle relative to the movement. This significantly improves directional stability on slippery surfaces. A significant part of the slots has a classic straight shape for such elements. Such lamellae are located in the central part at a slight angle. This solution improves longitudinal grip on wet surfaces by not only creating high and long edges, but also directing water into one of the nearby drainage grooves. Optimized stud pattern The next major innovation is the stud pattern. The number of longitudinal rows formed by them is not 10, as before, but 12. The spikes are located closer to the center of the tread, i.e., they are distributed more evenly over its entire area. This solution significantly improves the stability of grip on icy surfaces. Improved tread pattern The tread pattern of the tire contains a large number of tread grooves. A significant part of them is located at an acute angle, which makes it possible to use the rotation of the wheel to drain water and its mixture with snow. In the shoulder areas at the intersection with the transverse grooves, the tread has the ability to compact and retain snow, further enhancing grip. The main features of the Hankook W429 i Pike RS2: optimized tread pattern with massive blocks in the central part, increasing the stability of grip properties;

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

I can say without reservation that the value and quality of this rubber exceed my expectations. Considering the severity of the previous winter, this vehicle is surprisingly quiet and stable on the road.

Pros
  • Time has already put this brand's rubber through its paces, and while the native species is still alive and well, only about 90–95% of the spikes remain intact. After wearing the same pair of shoes with a native rubber tread for seven years, I realized it was time for an upgrade. The creation date of these brand-new tires is the first day of the next 21 years.

A two-year rider! I refuse to be different! Completely content! There was a bridge and a dunlop and spikes before that, and they all create noise and are more expensive by a factor of 1.5. If you want a spike, don't think twice about taking it.

Pros
  • You require controllability, and that applies to any surface within reason. (Parallel thinking is a normal cognitive process!). In the spring, I did a lot of driving on dry asphalt, on the highway, and I decided I wouldn't bother counting the spikes. I swapped out my footwear and double-checked it; everything seems to be in order, and the tread is OK (season 2 in the photo). We never got mired down. Crushes ice and snow the way they should be!
Cons
  • For the cost, I can't think of any negatives. For the sake of those with acute hearing, I will state this: there is noise, without judgment. But they're thorns, not roses!

Make careful to roll the spikes between 400 and 500 kilometers in grandpa mode. Over the course of three cold seasons, a total of 12 spikes spewed from four tires. Mainly asphalt is used for the roadways. Excellent tires.

Pros
  • Snow that is loose and fluffy, 4.5 Snow porridge ice 5/5 ⅘ 5.0/5.0 Wet pavement Cracked and crumbling pavement 5/5 Quietness 4/5 Gets you out of a bind in the snow.
Cons
  • Floats above +5 degrees Celsius.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I'm a good fit for this. Multiple times I worried, "well, now I'm definitely left without spikes":-) but eventually I realized that everything was in order.

Pros
  • Season 2's new and improved grip prevents spikes from flying off at high speeds.
Cons
  • Keeping it a secret

Each tire is properly aligned, and the loaders used for balancing weigh only 20 grams. This is the first winter using this rubber, and I couldn't be happier with how well it has held up. Extremely pleased with the standard!

Pros
  • That was some serious zapping and handling.
Cons
  • It makes some noise on the road, but not as much as other winter tires with spikes.

A good product, more pros than cons.

I'm using rubber with a size of 215.502022. It made noise for the first 100 kilometers after I put the tires on, but as I rolled it in, the noise stopped. I rolled it out at a speed of 80 to 90 mph on country roads where they almost didn't clear the snow, and I've already covered three kilometers on it. Due to the soft rubber and small size of the spikes, they are completely silent when driving at high speeds. The automobile calmly exits the snowdrifts. Driving through snow at a pace faster…

Pros
  • 1) The cost is not the most expensive. 2) The spikes' noise level is moderate 3) rides really nicely in the snow 4) Good braking on "porridge" and asphalt
Cons
  • The entry to the booties is made of slightly pliable rubber for braking on ice.

Not perfect quality, there is a small defect.

Although I drove very carefully (in a vehicle with four-wheel drive), there were almost no slippages, which leads me to believe that the cores of the spikes there are just three millimeters long. I rolled the spikes for thousands of three kilometers, and I ended up losing two spikes throughout the course of the winter. Although the tires are in excellent condition, I won't be able to use it for the upcoming season. Conclusion: I won't be purchasing such a model any more. With its positives…

Who among you has struggled with a situation that was similar to mine? I purchased this Ford Focus 3 rest automobile with rubber R16 205/55 tires. I am unable to provide a fair assessment of it due to the poor winter that occurred in 2022/2022. Tolerable on dry-wet asphalt when driving. I am more bothered by the sound. In comparison to haka 8, After taking a lengthy drive this year, I was dissatisfied to hear how noisy it could get on freshly swept asphalt. If I could, I'd affix a note on…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Noise

ate 06/10/2022 I purchased two sets of tires for my two automobiles, a KIA Cee'd and a KIA Soul, in the sizes 225/45 R17 and 215/55 R17. Nothing out of the ordinary happened while I was using them, and normal driving conditions never made me uncomfortable. It is possible to predict behavior on the road even when diverse surfaces are present (but you should still drive safely because winter is just around the corner). Yes, there is noise, but it is not essential. Through the entirety of the stud

Pros
  • Price. Comfort. Hook. Paddling through the snow. Not noisy.

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

I drove a distance of approximately one thousand kilometers when I was on the grant. A perfect score of four with a minus sign indicates that there are insufficient stars in the sky. Better than most on clean ice, especially in terms of how well it stops. However, he has a terrible fear of driving in the snow and ruts because there have been a few occasions when he has drove the wrong way on a grant. Rebuilding through the snow divider does not provide any difficulties; nevertheless…

Pros
  • 1) Price! Only 2,700 for a wheel that is 175/65/14. 2) Able to walk on ice even when there is no snow. Bring the flames under control! And if there is no snow on the ice and there are ruts, then you can very famously enter the turn, and the ice will ruffle but it will still hold. 3) Extremely peaceful, although the needles penetrate deeply. A good tire that is even better considering its low cost.
Cons
  • 1) Track! Be careful. 2) A sidewall that is softer than the profile. 3) It makes little difference in the snow, particularly while turning curves.

Bad! I am not satisfied with the quality of the product.

I had ridden the WQ-101 Velcro for eight years prior to buying it for Matiz, and during that time I had not had a single mishap while using it. It was quiet, it rowed in the snow, and it stopped on ice. On the other hand, I purchased this hankuk in the fall, and it has already flown off three times in turns into an oncoming lane when braking on podmershzem asphalt. And ultimately, the interaction consists of just the two of us. At a speed of thirty kilometers per hour, a Skoda Octavia came to a

Pros
  • Similar to the appropriate pattern and spikes.
Cons
  • Not for use on icy asphalt or snow that has been rolled.

I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

You are free to do so, but keep in mind that if you drive slowly, it may be plenty for four seasons. Although it is effective for steering, it is not intended for aggressive driving. Below are some advantages: Skated for two seasons in a size 195/55 r16, and another third will be leaving. Enjoyed the car's handling, directional stability, and ability to hook up on virtually any surface. Got cons: After the first season, approximately 30 studded, and after the second season, approximately 80…

Very weak. Since I make my living as a driver, I have a basis on which to evaluate the performance of these tires in real-world situations. Hankook intentionally messed up by releasing shoddy goods on the market in order to generate as much negative publicity and financial gain as possible. After the first one hundred kilometers, the points of the spikes are no longer sharp. Although it's possible that someone will argue that it helps preserve the asphalt, you should still be able to use the…

Pros
  • Good control and a reasonable amount of sidewall strength.
Cons
  • blunt spines

Tires of this kind and model for the summer When compared to other products in their category, the HANKOOK V12 has the best price-to-quality ratio. The company has been operating for a significant amount of time in the price sector that is not on average. It has already reached a level of proficiency comparable to that of Japanese rubber brands. Colleagues, let's put an extra thousand dollars toward the purchase of a nicer TOYO! One of its advantages is its high level of wear resistance…

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

OUTSTANDING TIRES! During the winter of 2022-2022, it was used in Hong Kong. Winter is warm. Although I did not drive through the woodland fields, based on the tread shape, I believe the tires would have performed very admirably in those conditions. I didn't go into the curves at a high rate of speed, but given how soft the pavement was, it's only natural that there would be a very tiny drift. The fact that the tires are so QUIET is the most significant advantage. Only when stopping on asphalt…

Pros
  • Tenderness, tenacity, and noisy perseverance
Cons
  • Not disclosed during the current season

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Before I upgraded to this model, I used the identical one from the generation before it for seven winters. Satisfied. Soft. Each of the pins has been properly inserted. They do not become mired in mud easily. You will get out of a skid on an ice skating rink, you will climb an ice hill, and on a snowy, uncleaned track at 100 kilometers per hour you will quietly overtake the passing ones. Even at a temperature of -25 degrees Celsius, they remained soft; it was not feasible to experience a colder

Pros
  • The handling is consistent regardless of whether the road is snowy or ice. Acceptable cost. Do not attempt to tan in really cold weather.
Cons
  • Did not make it public.

I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

Dimension 175/70R13. Surprisingly, after dashing into the room it started making a greater amount of noise. Car model VAZ 2106 with rear-wheel drive and no ABS or other safety features, for those who are unaware. Before that, there was a Bear; it rode well in the snow and didn't adhere to ice at all; the same rubber is its opposite; it's good on ice and in snow; it's not predictable; it may catch on, or maybe not; however, in general, it's an excellent competitor to hake 8-9 as far as I'm…

Pros
  • Excellent control and braking performance on ice; does not become obstinate when exposed to cold; nicely balanced; does not strike.
Cons
  • When there is a thick layer of snow on the road, it begins to scour more forcefully and will eventually skid. The protection has not been cleaned properly. After the break-in, the noise level increased.
