Review on Hankook Tire Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 215/50 R17 95T by Jnis Avoti ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Before I upgraded to this model, I used the identical one from the generation before it for seven winters. Satisfied. Soft. Each of the pins has been properly inserted. They do not become mired in mud easily. You will get out of a skid on an ice skating rink, you will climb an ice hill, and on a snowy, uncleaned track at 100 kilometers per hour you will quietly overtake the passing ones. Even at a temperature of -25 degrees Celsius, they remained soft; it was not feasible to experience a colder temperature. Snowdrifts sink in so deeply that the vehicle had to crawl on its belly to get through them. Rutting is not ideal since it creates the impression that the surface has gotten slick, but for studded tires, this is quite natural. I went into pits at a high rate of speed, and there were no flaws on either these or the first generation that came before these. Because almost all winter tires make a lot of noise and because stopping power on ice is only average, I don't put too much emphasis on either of those factors. On dry pavement - usual. To summarize: this is a better option for people who venture outside of the city. Automobile with front-wheel drive and tires measuring 195/70 R14 dimensions.

Pros
  • The handling is consistent regardless of whether the road is snowy or ice. Acceptable cost. Do not attempt to tan in really cold weather.
Cons
  • Did not make it public.
