57 year old Native American with naturally straight fine hair that tangles easily. Recently there has been excessive rainfall, doctors could not determine the cause either by observation or testing. It could be hormones, the ubiquitous "natural” fallout of 5-7 years, or my 3-month experiment on keto for rheumatoid arthritis, which could ALSO be a contributing factor (God!). I first tried Olaplex 3 which left my hair so embarrassingly tangled I cried. To make matters worse, I can't use any scented products at all. I was tinkering with Ulta when my regular employee suggested I go to Sally's to buy Nutri-Ox where she used to work and people swore to do it. After using it (very slight minty smell not unpleasant) a friend called, also with fine hair lol and when my hair was dry I told her I can't believe it but the knots are actually falling with one little finger combing out my hair was silky and a little fluffy? I took photos to show her the results. This is after I've lost maybe 1/4 of my hair in the last 2 weeks so yeah it's looking pretty thin so can't speak to hair growth yet but I'm certainly not losing any more hair trying to to unravel them.
