I love how small this dock is. Like most USB-C docking stations, it delivers power from your laptop port and enough bandwidth for an external monitor with no noticeable lag. A dedicated Ethernet port, USB 2.1, USB 3, and VGA (or HDMI) are great for such a small docking station. The only thing I would wish for would be more USB ports. I understand that not all can be USB 3 due to USB-C bandwidth, but a few more USB 2.1 ports would make this MUCH more useful. In my personal setup, the external backup drive is connected to a USB 3 port and the USB 2.1 port is for input devices. You have to choose between a wired keyboard and a mouse. Why couldn't I connect both? Yes, a wireless mouse is what most people need, but I have the ability to drain batteries at the worst times. I prefer wired peripherals for reliability.
