I use an adapter and hook this up to my kitchen faucet. Then I just open the back door and proceed to water my pots, planters and bed area. So much easier than filling and dumping buckets. It's perfect my use. I just unscrew the adapter and hose from the sink, I gather the hose up and drop in a small plastic trash can that fits under the sink. No worries about water in those damaging the cabinet wood. The house doesn't kink so I don't have to be careful about how it falls into the storage can.I highly recommend this for a tiny house or apartment living. It's made my life easier and my plants greener.I even hosed off my concrete patio to the surprise of the maintenance guy.(There is no outside spicket on any of the units) I live in circa 1940s brick military housing. 575sqf
