I have a VERY picky 17 year old medium haired cat who does not tolerate grains in her food (itching and vomiting). I did a little research and decided to switch to raw food as it seems to be the closest thing to a cat's natural diet, but she won't eat frozen brands. I've tried several brands of freeze dried cat food and this is by far his favorite (he also likes the chicken version from NW Naturals). This is my favorite as it softens very quickly in hot water and has little to no odor. My cat now also rarely gets hairballs, which I like! I wish it came in a larger pack to save some as I buy a pack every 3 weeks. I wonder why nobody makes cat food out of mice seems like a no-brainer :-).
