Grain-Free Northwest Naturals Freeze Dried Diet for Cats – Gluten-Free Pet Food, Cat Training Treats – 1-4 Oz. Review

My 17 year old cat has a very sensitive stomach and can't eat grain food. He is also a very picky eater so when he got early kidney disease I wanted to switch to raw food but he has not eaten frozen raw food. I tried several other brands of freeze dried products but he wasn't interested until I gave him Northwest Naturals. Now, when you eat, it's right there and gobbles it up. This is the easiest food I've tried to rehydrate. Just use hot water for best results.

I switched to Northwest Naturals after Stella & Chewy began adding Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (MSBC) to all of their freeze dried cat foods. This is the best raw freeze dried product I could find. Unlike most other raw FD options, the carb/veg content is minimal and the food is in a very convenient form (small granules that are easily scooped up). Since the freeze drying point is supposed to be cheap, I don't understand brands that ship the product as hard bricks that have to be broken by hand.
