This is the best raw freeze dried product I could find. Unlike most other raw FD options, the carb/veg content is minimal and the food is in a very convenient form (small granules that are easily scooped up). Since the freeze drying point is supposed to be cheap, I don't understand brands that ship the product as hard bricks that have to be broken by hand. With them, I just scoop the right amount, measure out half that amount of water, and sprinkle it on top. It should be noted that the amount of water isn't listed on the packaging, but this amount (1/2 the volume of a freeze-dried scoop) seems to work well and is in line with the amounts listed for other brands. Now if only I could convince my cats to eat it. This is so different from your usual raw food diet that the transition will take some time. However, if you feed them raw, a freeze-dried option is incredibly helpful for those times when you're busy/forgot to thaw the food/running out of groceries/the cat sitter is coming/etc.
