Review on BTSKY160 Colored Leather Organizer Watercolor by Carol Miller

Beautiful and organized! Ideal for standard size pencils or colored pencils.

I really like this bag. First, it looks good overall, has plenty of capacity, and I like that it lays relatively flat when unfolded. I also love that I have extra space for pencil drawings and can hold either an eraser or a small sharpener in the 3 large slots. Each page contains 22 pencils and then the first page contains 14 pencils with 3 large slots as above. Also, this case only has 171 slots, not sure why it's advertised as 160, but hey, it suits my needs and some. I have my set of 150 Prisma Prismacolors in this case and that leaves 18 regular pencil slots and larger slots. So I bought this case to complement my prismacolor colored pencils. For the most part, for pencils of this size, they fit into the grooves without much effort. They are very close together, so some of them can touch. So if you don't want to keep your pens together this case might not be for you, but for the most part there's enough room so the pens don't touch each other. For best results, I would recommend not using a standard size colored pencil. I have a pattern of different pens and pencils that I could fit into the elastic slots, but I'd say it "matches" some larger sized pens. and pencils may not be suitable for this case as the eraser will quickly fail or break out of the case. You'll see Kimberly and Simply drawing Crayons, a standard Walmart gel pen, a Crayola super tip (does do the trick, but I wouldn't recommend using this case for it, and it was a little trickier to put in the slot ), a regular pencil, a marker, and an experimental fountain pen Metropolitan pen (pencils of this size are also not recommended, although they fit easily in the slot). The zippers work well and the strap feels good. Personally, I prefer to carry it completely in my hands. As for how much it weighs at full capacity I'd say it weighs maybe a pound (give or take a few ounces) or less so nothing too bulky to carry around. Overall, this is a good case that meets my needs. The only thing I don't like is that the case can easily indent, so be careful where you put it or what you put on it. Most of the dents are exposed, but the case has been there too long to make a lasting impression.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
