Review on Edifier USA E25 Luna Eclipse (White) by Christina Moreno

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I didn't like them at first but loved them

would please me to change my rating of these speakers. After some hiccups along the way and the shock that they were so big and heavy I decided to leave them and give it a try. Then I started browsing Youtube.com a bit looking for reviews and examples of other multimedia speakers and I can say that these speakers sound way better than even the more expensive computer speakers I've seen reviewers do. really cheap speakers for $25. I was expecting to be blown away when I first got them, so I was really surprised when they weren't as "loud" as I thought they would be. But as I've learned from YouTube reviews, louder isn't always better. These speakers can be cranked up to full volume and still produce really powerful bass and vocals without distortion. My first reaction was after listening via bluetooth. The sound connected to a computer is 100% better. As for the design. Well they are a lot bigger than I would like for computer speakers so be aware they are very large. They take up a lot of table space. And Bluetooth is not always reliable. But when it comes to audio, I really grew up enjoying the audio they offer and I appreciate the competitive environment in audio. It's nice to see midrange for people who can afford a little more, but not the best. In terms of packaging, it was really obvious that Edifier wanted this product to feel special, which is great for a small business. Everything was well packaged, good packaging and although it was a little difficult to open everything, it looks like they want to "make you feel like you've really bought something amazing". In the end, however, I kept these speakers and really enjoyed them. Compared to some of the more expensive brands I've heard on Youtube, these speakers are not only louder, but also clearer. So thanks for that.

Pros
  • Inclusion of DSP and DRC for better sound quality and distortion control, plus an electronic crossover and separate power amp for each tweeter and bass driver
Cons
  • Nothing
