This is the best toy for one of our (2) cats! He has a simultaneous love and hate for this thing. We call this toy "Anger Management" for Hoffman (the cat). At some point, he brutally attacks him and then cuddles up to him and licks him or just falls asleep on him. Very nice. We've bought about 4 of these over the last few years and while it's not cheap it's well worth the money. The only time he really manages to destroy it is when we go on vacation and he takes his anger out on him :)
