200 micron mesh is too tight

When I saw this product I thought I had finally found the right filter sock but found that it was far from perfect. When I put it in and looked at it the next morning, it wouldn't even let water flow through it, which is a 200 micron mesh. I've been looking all day for a 4 inch ring with a 400 micron mesh filter. I felt the 200 is too narrow for even water to get to the other parts of the swamp. I haven't had any luck finding a 400*4 inch ring so I'm trying a 14 inch ring which of course is too long for my tanks because of the swamps where the socks go not that long and they don't fit properly. I hope the 400 micron mesh works much better because they are much easier to clean than felt, felt is fine too but they are very difficult to clean and contain a lot of lint, as they get older it is difficult , to keep fluff out of the tank. I don't think it's safe to have lint floating around in an aquarium and it's almost as bad for fish as plastic pollution in the sea. I don't need it for my beautiful fish. Thank you and I hope this helps other fish lovers. If anyone knows of a 4 inch ring with a 10 or 12 inch toe please leave me a message on the Revain forum.
