Does not compress like an OEM gasket.
This seal is made of rubber. The OEM seal is a denser, closed-cell foam, so it packs much easier than this aftermarket rubber version. This creates too much pressure between the toilet floor and the flange, preventing the toilet from sitting flush on the floor. For any reason this item is non-refundable. So now I have a shaky toilet and no way to get my money back. Save time and buy an original Thetford seal.
