There was a piece of fabric on my driver's door that came loose years ago. I always thought it looked terrible but didn't know how to fix it. I tried gluing fabric to it but it didn't stick. So I decided to paint it. I was looking for a color that would last and it does. I sanded and rubbed the area with alcohol and applied 3 coats. It dries quickly even in Indiana's high humidity. Be sure to dress it up. I have a bit on the silver part but it came off easily. I used a foam brush to apply. I also used it for the item at the bottom of the door (don't know what it's called) but it looks really good too. I don't have before photos. I have black trim on the outside, I'll try it on.
