I combined it with a quick connector to connect to a mobile phone (must be purchased separately). I actually noticed a BIG difference when using a cheaper wired headset. As for the microphone, the audio quality on the other end is close to perfect. People can hear you perfectly and can barely tell you're using a headset. There are practically no cracks and setbacks. Noise canceling seems to work too. When driving on the highway, the sound is just as clear. The speaker could be a bit louder. I have a little trouble hearing people when I'm on a noisy street. However, the overall quality is excellent. Despite the volume, the sound is very crisp and clear. I know there is a fast link to the amp but I avoided it based on the bad reviews. The construction is very solid. My old headset was made out of cheap plastic and broke after a few weeks. This one appears to be made from much better materials and will hopefully last a lot longer. It's also very comfortable (much more comfortable than any in-ear headphones). Even after long conversations, he feels great. Overall, I'm glad I paid the extra money for a nicer headset. I would recommend this to anyone who needs hands-free calling for an extended period of time and isn't a fan of Bluetooth headphones.
