Review on πŸ”΅ Sewline Riolis Sewline Water-Soluble Fabric Glue Pen: Refillable and in Blue by Tara Ford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Glue stick inserts are very small

As for the glue, it works. It's also handy to have in the form of a pin to attach to your shirt and keep the cap firmly on the glue. I used to use a glue stick to temporarily attach pieces of fabric while I was attaching them, but if the glue is left there for a while it dries up and it's annoying when you sit down to work on something and the glue is completely dry. That's why I bought it, thinking there was something inside that looked like glue sticks. The reality is these are just like glue sticks, but they are SMALL. really very small. I expected them to be smaller, but they are exceptionally small, slightly larger than a pencil. You would NOT want to buy this for paper wrapping. You would use it far too quickly. You can buy four regular packs of glue sticks for the same price and when one is dry open a new one. Depending on how long the glue in the pen stays fresh decides whether I buy the refills or not. I think this is especially good when you have very small appliquΓ© pieces that a regular glue crescent would be too big for. I would have preferred a thicker grip that could hold a slightly larger stick, but if it holds the glue for the times I need it for a little work I could be a lot happier with it and just using it for tiny bits and the back use to regular stick on the big ones.

Pros
  • Glue sticks and handles
Cons
  • Only available in black
