I opened the box, went downstairs and saw that all the sensors had wires attached. So they are not wireless. There are two handsets. One of the modules needs to be attached to the probe, and the probe needs to be inserted into the meat or whatever you're cooking. The other block controls the first block so you can use it anywhere up to 500 feet from the stove or grill. Turning it on and off is hard for me to understand. There should be a button to easily turn it off. Please ensure you read all instructions before purchasing this device. A wireless monitor that you carry with you. This will not work in a grill oven. The flesh cannot move. I bought it to cook prime ribs and smoke fish. Smoke fish like a man. If the fish is overcooked, it will become tough and the smoker door should not be opened and closed to further inspect the fish. This device is perfect for that. I just have to get back to college to figure out how to program devices. hahahahaha There's something else. The instructions should be bigger so I don't need a magnifying glass to read them. Much luck. Hope this review helps someone. Just used it today, after opening the package I can't change the meat type from rare to well done. It doesn't work and there is no return information on it.
