I wanted to like this unit, I really did. But instead I hate it. First, the base of the blocks isn't wide enough to stand securely. If the power cord dangles down, which of course it normally does, the base of the monitor and the primary unit will be pulled under the weight of the tendon. Also problematic is that there is no light to indicate the sound coming from the surveillance unit. The monitoring unit can hardly be heard even at maximum volume. Additionally, there are no indicators to indicate that there is sound coming from the base unit. For some above: The battery life is very good. There are no indicator lights showing audio from the base unit, which is absolutely awful. The sound control even at maximum volume leaves a lot to be desired. Will I order it again? no
