They are “mandatory” for multi-lane driving.
I installed these mirrors on the bottom inside corners of the side mirrors on my SUV. I often drive in fast multi-lane traffic and these mirrors are essential for checking blind spots before changing lanes. I love that they are mounted in a small "cup" rather than standing alone and love how snugly they fit my mirrors. They also hold the set angle very well.
