The quality of this product exceeded my expectations considering the great price. I find the microphone to be overly sensitive, and the volume control only works when toggling between maximum volume and medium volume (no sound plays below). I'd rather have the mic overly sensitive than undersensitive, and I'd never set the volume below average anyway, so I don't care about those little issues. This product has been used extensively for 6 months and the product still looks and feels the same as the day I bought it. Again, the price is great and the product exceeded my expectations. The sole purpose of purchasing this product was to connect my Sony XB950N1 headphones https://www.amazon.com/Sony-XB950N1-Wireless-Canceling-Headphones/dp/B01MUGEYT7 to my Xbox One controller. Unfortunately, the Xbox One isn't configured to use Bluetooth headphones, and these Sony headphones have been designed so that the microphone can only be used when connected via Bluetooth. Sony has also designed its headphones to eliminate the need for a standard 3.5mm audio cable. So I just used a knife to remove a fairly small section of the cable cover to match the original Sony headphone cable shown in my photos. Sony's decision on the design of their latest headphones is disappointing, but it's obviously an easy way to make easy money by selling "special" replacement 3.5mm audio cables.
