I was looking for an alternative to speaker tips when I came across this computer stand. My goal was to increase the height of the speakers and the risers did the job! The stands fit the shape of Bose 401 speakers. According to the stand, they are rated to hold 88 pounds. Each speaker weighs 29 pounds. The speakers are stuck. I recommend the triangular shape for your vintage Bose 401 speakers. 4 stars because the foot extension is plastic.
