As a longtime and avid flash and studio flash user, I have been fortunate to use a variety of different flashes from different manufacturers. Nikon, Canon and Fujifilm, as well as third-party providers such as Phottix, Yongnuo, Cactus, Sunpak and Vivitar. For many of these devices I needed triggers for each system as none of them overlapped except for manual triggers which fired each flash remotely. I recently decided to simplify after seeing how others work in my studio and on location, so I ditched my proprietary flashes and studio setups and went with Godox. Now I can use one trigger with all my lights - speed flashes or flashes - and I have more options. This V860II kills it with its lithium-ion battery. No more charging AA batteries and tracking usage. Talk about easy! Power delivery is as good as any and despite running fast I haven't had a single overheat yet. Simple menu and interface, takes a few minutes and you're proficient. The X1T controller could use some improvement, it could be bigger. Now it's a bit big. It would be great to place the display at an angle so you can see it better while you work. I don't think it will make the size too big. It all works very well. The vendor, Conxtrue, was the very first to offer delivery of Fuji support releases, so I placed my order and in typical Revain Prime fashion, I had it within two days. Excellent service from the seller and good communication.
