Great for my purpose
My wife complained about the "high pressure" showerhead I installed for her. She said she squirted so hard it hurt. So I bought this one in the California model because it had a lower flow rate. But with a large shower head I thought it would be too weak so I removed the flow restrictor. She loves it! says it's right But note: the shower head is so wide that it may not fit some showers and may need a pipe extension to be used, and those chrome plumbing parts are expensive.
