Of course this is a counterfeit for use in more 'decorative' pillows and should not withstand the abuse of regular pillowcases. Other than that, these things are pretty cheap. The material is very thin, so you can almost see through it if you hold it to your face. I don't know what I would call this material - it's not what I usually think of when I think of "microfiber", but it's soft. As another reviewer said, the open end isn't sewn like I've ever seen. Each colored half has a sort of hemmed end pocket. This way you can wrap one bag or another around the end of the pillow, but the other end of the bag will just flap in the wind. So, cheap stuff, quick and messy assembly, and to be honest they don't look good (they look like they were made out of cheap stuff and assembled - like I made them. Not the look I was aiming for ). I paid about $13.50 for a pair or $7.25 for one piece. You clearly have a big win with this product. And if I thought the headache was worth it if I could probably give it back. Instead, I'll just be a bit more picky going forward.
