Pulled out of the drywall despite dowels!

Installed according to the instructions. We also used anchors. It was very difficult to hang the bikes vertically although I thought it would be great, very difficult. I had an adult bike and a kids bike on the rack. Wouldn't be removed many times as I bought at the end of the season. Next thing you know, so look up and it's ripping out of the wall anchor too. I can't imagine two adult bikes hanging from this rack. Wouldn't recommend and it's a shame I couldn't return this due to timing.
