To be too good to be true? That could well be the case.

So I don't actually review on Amazon but I feel this product deserves some time to write a review in addition to what others have written. First of all, this is without a doubt a great product. protein flavor; I'm very surprised that, as a simple plant-based protein, it doesn't taste like shit. Financially, this is a cheap product when you consider the cost per pound and the amount of protein you're getting per serving, along with an "organic" product, and when you spread that across the many other types of protein, available from Revain you will see that this is a good deal, especially when you see that the market for protein in general is more or less homogeneous. a lot and I was very excited to get my hands on this based on all the excellent reviews that have appeared here on Amazon. Shortly thereafter, out of my own curiosity, I set out to do a little research on plant protein and was a little dismayed at some of the reviews and some of the sources citing impurities that might be common in plant proteins like this. Again, while there isn't much research to guarantee this (along with all the opinions on the subject being pretty candid), what really struck me is that this product is being sold as organic. The reason this concerned me is because when I went into the USDA Organic Integrity Database I was trying to find this company whose name was nowhere in their database. I then went to the CCOF website (Naked claims it's certified organic) and searched their registry for this company but nothing came up. At this point, I was stunned at how something like this could happen. Then I emailed Naked and asked who was in the store to make sure that this product was indeed organic. production batch) is presumably registered with the CCOF as certified organic. Private labeling isn't a problem, and heck, if that means I can get my protein for a lot less, I'm all for it. The only problem is that Naked has told me they don't name who their alleged packer might be, which sounds very suspicious to me and it's a matter of my own wellbeing as to whether I should even take it. . I mean I can understand if as a company you don't want to list your third name so your competitors know about your strategy (which is perfectly reasonable given the fragmentation of the market) but until then opaque then it casts doubt on many things, which they claim takes precedence. Of course, it was my own utter ignorance that I failed to do my due diligence before purchasing their products, but I think those who buy their products should think twice: they label their product as organic when it carries their name does not appear in any database (where they claim that organic itself is a fraudulent claim), they state that their product is "HEAVY METALS AND MELAMINE TESTED": Our organic sprouted brown rice naked protein has been independently tested for Heavy metals and no melamine" (which is quite debatable as they clearly aren't made by them, so what's the claim?), after all, they use seals on their Β£5 product to denote that product is organic , but why not their 1/lb product I had high hopes for this company and this product as an accurate value proposition of what this product s one claims when it's not what it is. Lots of things to hide "Attention Emptor.
