Review on Emberlit Fireant Stainless Steel Stove - Lightweight & compact multi-fuel solution ideal for hiking, hunting, survival packs, and camping by Terry Wright

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly light and compact stove.

This is a great little camp stove. I wasn't sure how well it would work before I received it, but I can honestly say I was amazed at how well it worked. Incredibly easy to use and gets very hot. I wanted to boil 3 cups of 60ºF water in less than 5 minutes. On my old mini stove mixed with propane and butane this usually takes about 9-10 minutes. This thing weighs more than propane/butane torches, but since it uses natural fuels you'll find on the trail, you can easily save on pack weight and space by not having to carry fuel with you. Alcohol or solid fuel can also be used, I carry a couple of cubes of Esbit which weigh next to nothing and pack easily so there is still a huge space and weight saving compared to other stoves.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled
