Difficult to assemble

If you don't take the time to sand the edges you will cut yourself assembling the stove. It's also tricky to reattach the last piece, but it will get easier with a little practice. Also, follow the instructions and remove the plastic cover from BOTH sides before use. I'm not sure what the consequences are if you don't. It just seems like a good idea.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Great product, works well (this is the smallest)

This model (Fireant) is the smallest in the family, suitable for one person hiking. I will get more when we have more people. It works well! There are no complaints about the price and dimensions. Very durable when assembled. Boiling water after 7 - 8 minutes. Only criticism: Covered with a protective film that cannot be easily removed and the edges can be sharp, so be careful when assembling.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great little oven at Stoves & Grills

Love this oven. However, I have to say that removing the plastic around the small bumps and areas where the logos were was a bit of a challenge. The edges need to be sanded as they are sharp. I have used it several times and am satisfied. The oven is very stable for its size. Sometimes these little stoves tend to smoke, but this one seemed to have good airflow even with a light wind. Maybe over time I'll go for the titanium version, but this stainless steel one is still pretty light.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

This is my second Emberlite purchase. My first was about a year ago and I bought it as a gift. Mine is in a survival bag in my car. These little stoves do what they say they do. They must know how to make a fire when burning wood. A bit of desiccant and a lighter work great. The ovens are very well built and take up very little space. Practice putting them together and making fire and you'll be done.

Wood, pills or alcohol - this is an excellent set!

I already had the original Emberlit oven and the FireAnt oven. But I wanted a different FireAnt for a different kit. I ordered this sheet and received the original Emberlit sheet. It looks like they marked the packages in the middle. Revain changed the photo so you're probably getting FireAnt now. I'm not complaining because the Original Stove is a fantastic kit. I ordered FireAnt Stove from Emberlit and received it immediately. .FireAnt is small but works great and is very reliable. The bonus…

Surprisingly light and compact stove.

This is a great little camp stove. I wasn't sure how well it would work before I received it, but I can honestly say I was amazed at how well it worked. Incredibly easy to use and gets very hot. I wanted to boil 3 cups of 60ºF water in less than 5 minutes. On my old mini stove mixed with propane and butane this usually takes about 9-10 minutes. This thing weighs more than propane/butane torches, but since it uses natural fuels you'll find on the trail, you can easily save on pack weight and…

Great oven but use these tips.

You can hardly go wrong with this oven. Unlimited fuel source, ultra light and compact. I was curious how long it would take to get this stove to boil. The one I used before took about 8 minutes. I was impressed to find out it's 8 minutes too! I look forward to using it somewhere in the woods to make my own coffee and hot water for my meals. ATTENTION: The edges are very sharp. I got a few small cuts on my fingers from contact with metal parts. So I sanded the edges with my sandpaper and now…
