Review on 🔧 Red Hound Auto Ford Ranger Spare Jack Extension Tire Tool Replacement (1998-2011) by Deejay Allard

I came across this tool while looking for a replacement for the corresponding tool on my F250 Super Duty. Except for the length, it was identical to the tool I had to replace. The small end of the spoon on my tool was crimped fairly loosely onto the end of the square bar and rounded, making it unsuitable for use with the barrel screw jack that comes with anything larger than the F150. This little Ranger tool had a larger, more deeply folded area and seemed less likely to fail. tool, and it had a crease hammered into the side of the knurled area that looked like it might help hold things in place. All in all, I have no complaints about my purchase. I needed it anyway, and it looks a little better quality than the one I started with. I took off a star because the sole seller of this item, Red Hound Auto, did not answer a question I posted in this article as to whether it was the same tool, albeit shorter, than my F250. I took the plunge with no response because it looked almost identical and was only $20. Considering how many jacks they sell for various Ford trucks, answering my question should have been an easy task for one of their employees. I wasn't expecting a silver guarantee, but a simple "looks exactly the same except for the length" would be good consolation. On the plus side of customer service, shipping was the fastest I've ever seen on a non-prime item.
