Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Brooks Adrenaline Midnight Black Women's Athletic Shoes by Geoff Cooper

First and probably LAST pair - #Disappointed #TooExpensive #NotWorth$$$

I have a wide foot and a very low arch and I run like crazy in sneakers, on average I last from 6 months to a year. Now, I'm not a marathoner or runner at all, but I bought them hoping that they would be good for outdoor walks and long-term physical activity, as well as daily runs around the house, etc. They're ok, but I don't really understand what the hype about them is, other than the expensive cost. To be honest they are not worth the $130 I paid. I was hoping for better insoles that would offer more comfort as I have a problem with my right heel. They have been recommended to me by many, including an orthopedist, but I don't see much of a difference between them and a standard pair of sneakers. I did a lot of research before purchasing these as I don't often spend over $100 on a pair of sneakers. I went to the Brooks website and they asked you a series of questions about your suitability and needs and this was a recommendation. I'm disappointed. I wasn't expecting magic or anything, but I was expecting a softer footbed and better responsiveness given the thickness of the outsole (whatever you want to call it). It's thick as a cloud, which in theory looks like it would help with support, but honestly I don't think it helps much at all. Overall, I'm disappointed with the cost of this. The shoes are well built, I'm curious to see if the outer mesh material will hold up having gone through a pair of New Balance trainers in a similar material in less than 6 months. If you're looking for a gentle plantar fasciitis remedy, this probably isn't the place for you.
