Advantages: -Compact. Love the fact that I can fold it up and put it in my back pocket - water resistant. I dropped it in the yard and it started raining. When I found it I brushed off some dirt and it was like new. Price. Cheaper than my Nike running hat. It has some odd lines where the bill is folded, but it's much smoother than these new ones. I like simplicity. This is a customizable material. I can see that this has been the case for me for a while. Where I see problems is in the plastic adjustment clasp. It's thin and can easily break if I don't fit properly in my pocket. Cons: - Color choice. I want them to be white. Conclusion: I use it to time my summer swimming competitions. For 4-5 hours at a time by the pool I needed a cap with a longer peak. I refuse to buy a cap with a mullet-like mesh. This is perfect for my use. I plan to use this on an upcoming hike.
