I have just received this extension table and I am very disappointed. The reason I received this table is because I sometimes get a number of Having to make holes with a metal or wood rod drill press so I bought this and a drill press vise to make my life easier.Scale on sliders when dial play is about 10 degrees on its scale?Me too disappointed that the dial knobs are just unscrewed and loosen when rotated properly.Overall I think for better quality I would have gotten 3. which is worth it.2…

This table is obviously imported, as are almost all modern pre-use instruments. It's solid and perfect for what it's intended for The lead on the screws is about 0.015 which isn't too bad and can easily be compensated for.I could easily readjust the screws to reduce the lead and may do so in the future if the need arises.My old South Bend lathe from the 1940's has more play than this and I've learned how to make it work very well If you need more accuracy just put the dial indicator on the…
