Review on Ciata Lighting Decorative Emergency Battery by Justin Sherman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sleek and Efficient

We installed one of these on the landing in the basement to illuminate the escape route in the event of a power failure. There is plenty of light for this application but cannot illuminate a large space. It has a slim, low profile and the two lights are easily adjustable for optimal aiming. Installation was pretty easy, but a bit of a juggling act. Another type of emergency light we installed has a base plate with an electrical connector that powers the light when you plug it onto the base plate. This model requires direct wiring from the light to the control box. However, the device is not very heavy, so this is not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. The test button also doubles as a power indicator to confirm the device has power to charge the battery. fits the living space better than the other style we have. Use Rechargeable Light Bulbs, Covered Hallway or Living Room Security - 2 Pack

Pros
  • Easy to install ensures hassle-free installation, specifically designed for use in tight spaces, and the black surface mount plate fits most standard-sized junction boxes, snaps in and mounts easily to a wall or ceiling bracket. UL certified for dry environments (0°C - 30°C). The dual head decorative emergency light conforms to the following certifications: UL924, NFPA 101Life Safety Code, NEC, OSHA and state codes.
Cons
  • High price
