The 12 o'clock green is displayed next to the 8 o'clock white and next to the candle. Green was twice as useful as white. This is exactly what I remember when I served in the army. I would buy them again. I don't think I will buy white again. The expiry date of the lot I received was 02/24. Both lasted all evening until I went to bed.

The light emitted was weak. It was only light for 10 minutes, then it faded. The real test was when there was a power outage in our area - total darkness. I had to light several rooms with these chemical lamps and of course they didn't cope with this task. I do not recommend this product or this store. If there were a natural disaster, I'd be in trouble and in the dark.

I used them to tag my team's backpacks during the nighttime search and rescue this weekend and they were bright as hell. We ended up covering them up a bit to reduce light pollution and preserve our natural night vision in the forest when searching. I used them at an advanced firearms training event that was held in the twilight and dark of the night. They were used to mark lines of fire at various distances and to provide enough light to see the inside of shooting bags, diagnose malfunctions, etc. without interfering with our night vision. They are great and work exactly as advertised. Keep in mind that none of them are as bright as you see them on TV and/or movies. They keep adding more and more light for filming. I've just tested them for durability and brightness and I'm not disappointed. First in terms of durability. They remained consistently bright for the first 12 hours and then continued to burn for 2 hours before finally dimming. They were still dimly lit 20 hours after I first activated them.
