Sometimes a little cleaning is required.
I have had several of these devices over the years. I chose the volcano this time because the Angry Mama version is one of my childhood Fisher Price toys. The instructions for these microwave cleaners always said one part vinegar to two parts water. And that's probably the FDA and CDC cleaning method, but I use 1 part Spic and Span's Cinch to 3 parts water and then run it again to rinse. The belt cleans much better in one go than vinegar.
