These are super easy to use. I was able to match the color of my sofa trim pretty easy. It only took me two layers of the marker to cover the scratches. I did not have to use the crayons so I can’t really say how well they work, but the markers are awesome. You can only tell that the marks are there if you look really really close, and I don’t think anyone visiting my home will be looking that closely. Very happy with this purchase.

Would be 5 stars but one of my pens was already dried out so I had to use a different shade. Obviously you shouldn’t use the wax before using the pen, but you can layer the wax after trying the pen. I found best results wiping the pen off while still wet, preventing staining of the non-scratched areas and allowing me to build up color darker and darker until it matched well enough.Don’t expect it to be perfect. I am so happy I decided to give these a try. If you are looking to refurbish something cheap & easily give these markers a shot.1. Cleaned with Murphy’s oil soap2. I purchased this set to fill some nail holes in some stained wood door casing and baseboard moulding. The trim / casing was made of clear pine and stained to a medium / dark brown color. As expected, when nailing up the moulding there were some nail holes that were visible. I thought this would be the answer to my problems with the areas missing the finish well the markers just don't cut it it's not dark enough it's like you had to keep going over and over and over and that's just not what I want

This works especially well on black. For the browns, definitely start with the lightest color first and work your way darker like the instructions say.

I bought this relatively inexpensive dresser and nightstand almost 14 years ago. It's been moved several times and was looking very raggedy. I saved a ton by touching up the dings, scratches and even hidden some decent sized boo boos. A++

I used these markers on my dinning room table which had a couple of scratch marks. It looks great! The marks are not noticeable anymore and it looks totally natural. It matched the color of the wood very well. I was surprised by how effective this was.

I used different colors throughout my house and it blends very well. Make sure you use a rag to blend the colors into the wood before it dries.

Was able to cover scuffs and gouges on coffee table, TV stand and picture frames that were roughly handled or improperly packed by a storage/moving company. I thought I'd have to putty & sand some larger marks, but by blending colors with these pens even larger scuffs we're well hidden.
