I just moved into a house with all original hardwoods. I spent days cleaning and polishing and applying restoring products throughout the house, and the floors went from dull to gorgeous. However, I didn’t realize one of my club chairs had what is essentially a nail sticking out of the bottom of one of the feet, and it gouged and scratched the floor. The gouges were deep, but not splintered, and the scratches were superficial, so I thought I’d try this product. I used the wax first on the deepest gouges and that took a bit of the rough texture away. Then I used the corresponding marker, and that filled in the remaining marks and came pretty close to matching the stain. In my photos, you can see the deepest gouge (the one that’s a straight line) and a few lighter gouges. Up close (about six inches away) the color is off and it’s obvious the marks had been colored in with a marker, but my last photo is from about three feet (standing distance), and the gouges and scratches are not noticeable at all. I’m satisfied with this product and would recommend it and use it again.
