Review on Sova Aero 1.6mm Night Guard - Tailored Dental Mouth Guard for Optimal Fit by Kirk Arroyave

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My dentist recommended a truly custom made NightGuard

I grind hard and squeeze and chew Nightguards like candy every 3-6 months. Even with insurance, the costs were no longer affordable. On my own I tried a higher rated protection and got a terrible headache so I went back to the dentist. He explained that the other was too soft, squeezing, moving his neck, etc., but admitted that it made no sense for me to keep spending dollars at that level and accepted the Sova with an adjustment to the Sova form. So I bought it and brought it to his office. and he showed me how to trim it to fit my upper front teeth only (slight overbite = upper teeth protection). Perfection! I save over $360 each time, and the last one was exactly 6 months old, b/ci was able to remodel it twice, so the savings are actually greater. No headaches, no money to fix broken teeth, lasting protection with CUSTOM fit. Thank you, Dr the back). I have big horse teeth, so I don't really heat water in the microwave (not recommended) for 1:38, toss the guard in the H20, and immediately carry the bowl with a butter knife (I'd rather use what I have more control over there, um to prevent overlapping and sticking). Once the guard is outside, I pull them out with a butter knife and then wait a few seconds for my fingers to touch them. Using these notches to align the mouthguard with my front teeth, I position it halfway up (horse teeth), then use my fingers to shape the mouthguard around all of my top front teeth without worrying about it wrapping around my back wraps. Teeth. At the same time, I suck the air out with my fingers and tongue until it's almost hard. Then I pull out my handy scissors and shorten the harpoon so that it only fits on my 6 front teeth. (Edit) I then dip it back in warm water to soften the protector a bit and reapply it to my upper front teeth. I use my fingers to adjust the shortened shape to my teeth. Works like clockwork and the protection goal is achieved: the back molars do not creak or shrink, the front and lower jaw teeth are protected, there are no headaches. You can use warm water or a silver nail file if you need to round the edges. This process seems tedious, but if like me you're eating them and need to save money, it's worth it. Over time it's easy; it now takes me 5 minutes from end to end. I have the same Sova for 9 months now! In the morning when I brush my teeth, I clean my visor with a toothbrush. It's very easy, just do a few passes and put it back in the case, or I'll spray with Sova-Spray. or in nat. Dental mouthwash for when I'm lazy.
