I'll start of by saying the dress is super cute. My daughter is very slim, so the dress was a bit wide on her. The belt helped a lot in helping it fit appropriately. If your child is of a more average build them the dress should for appropriately for the size.My one piece of advice though, if you get this dress also get a slip. The dress becomes somewhat see through in almost any form of light.
